 ABOUT US AND OUR PRODUCTS
We are a small family
run business who pride ourselves on the quality of our dovecotes.
At present there are 3
dovecotes in our range, 2 post-mounted and 1 wall-mounted, but we do cater
for individual requirements.
 All our dovecotes are handmade to the same design, and
are not only practical for the purpose of keeping doves, but also an
attractive feature to their chosen siting.
The cotes are built out
of selected wood, which is planed and treated with wood preservative prior to
customer's choice of finish.
We use 38mm x 38mm for
the frames, the cote walls are made from 16mm thick tongue and groove
boarding, the roof out of 16mm thick shiplap, and the separate nesting
compartments are made out of 12mm thick best quality exterior grade ply.
The post provided is
either 100mm or 150mm square for strength and has been pressure treated. It
goes inside the cote and acts as a spine for extra strength and support.
The paint and stain
used is microporous, which allows the wood to breathe, and prevents cracking
and flaking.
The roof is
interlocking and finished with a lead crown, a wood finial (except Shepley)
is also provided.
 Accessories such as feed tables
and homing boxes are also available if required. We can supply doves, but
unfortunately not to overseas customers.

instructions are provided with the cotes, or alternatively we provide an
installation service.
